BLACK COUGAR SHOCK UNIT is what would have happened if NAKED RAYGUN got into a fight with POISON IDEA over who was taking NOMEANSNO on a date to see ROCKET FROM THE CRYPT, with JESUS LIZARD supporting. Since its inception on 17th October, 2003 BCSU had been through everything from line-up changes to tours, uprooting from Gainesville, Florida to Altanta, Georgia, to recording 22 tracks in 3 days, live. They started 2006 with a US tour, which they followed up with a UK and European tour with their friends GRABASS CHARLESTONS and FORMER CELL MATES. Then they went home and broke up. Again. Alex moved to Minneapolis to join OFF WITH THEIR HEADS, before leaving that band too, and going back home to Gainesville, Florida.
