THE ENABLERS are from the US (Califorina and Florida!) and play ingenious, powerful, melodic punk rock akin to THE REPLACEMENTS getting drunk with SOCIAL DISTORTION. They're ex-DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL / ex-FAY WRAY, and the two tracks they offer up here were recorded at the same time as the "Sweet Fuck All" CDEP, but were kept back for something special to come along. These tracks are just great, and fit perfectly next to their 2003 EP. BEDFORD FALLS debut here, also with two tracks. From Cardiff, South Wales and featuring members of THE TAKE, this band takes a journey back to Minneapolis and alternative USA circa the mid-80's! Think THE LEMONHEADS, HUSKER DU, REM, MOVING TARGETS and a whole host of other great alternative punk / rock bands vs a twinge of punk country, coupled with a totally British edge. Basically, the perfect match for THE ENABLERS and definitely BEDFORD FALLS' best songs to date. *Nerd fact : one side plays at 33, other at 45!
500 copies pressed on black.
THE ENABLERS recorded April, 2003 by Jeremy Dubois at Dungeon Studios.
BEDFORD FALLS recorded January, 2004 by Shaun Lowe at Prism.
