It features 27 tracks by some of the best names in modern day punk rock, from countries all over the world. Starting in Cardiff, UK (where the label is located) there's tracks from FOUR LETTER WORD (BYO Records), BEDFORD FALLS (who feature members of THE TAKE on Household Name Records) and NO CHOICE (including a brand new, previously unreleased track "Gun" that has only been heard in their live set on their recent US tour with AGAINST ME!). Staying with the UK, there's tracks from SHONBEN and SEDACED (both ex-BROCCOLI, ex-DEAD INSIDE, ex-THE 'TONE, and including a current member of 20,000 selling spoof London oi! band HARD SKIN, on TKO Records) as well as 2 brand new tracks from Exeter's highly under-rated ANNALISE (No Idea Records; ex-member Brian went on to front the highly popular KIDS NEAR WATER) which will both be on their new album to be released on Newest Industry and No Idea later on in 2004 / 2005. From America there's both EP and 7" tracks from THE ENABLERS (ex-DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL, ex-FAY WRAY), BLACK COUGAR SHOCK UNIT (from Florida, ex-PANTHRO UK UNITED 13, ex-HOUSE ON FIRE) and a brand new track from Baltimore's CAN'T SAY (who sound like GUNMOLL meets the sound of melodic, 90's UK punk rock such as HOOTON 3 CAR and LEATHERFACE), which will be on their debut release coming out on Newest Industry sometime later this year. There's also a track from legendary Florida punk rock band PANTHRO UK UNITED 13, which was only previously available on 7" vinyl, and is here for the first time on CD. From Canada there's a track from the almighty power-pop-punk band FIFTH HOUR HERO (No Idea Records) and 2 tracks from THE PAPERBACKS (Canada), one of which is an unreleased song entitled "Bedford Falls" that indirectly pays homage to their future UK tour / label mates of the same name! From The Netherlands, NRA (BYO Records, Hopeless Records, Gearhead Records, Sony Records, etc) give us two NAKED RAYGUN meets THE RAMONES style songs from their already classic "Machine" album, and from Finland THE PHOENIX FOUNDATION present 3 tracks from their various releases on Newest Industry, showing you just how much they truly deserve the name of "the new HUSKER DU".
