This was originally going to be a split 7" between BLACK COUGAR SHOCK UNIT and OFF WITH THEIR HEADS, but BCSU broke up so that obviously didn't happen. So then I heard it was to be with J CHURCH, and basically totally piggy-backed Newest Industry onto the release. I mean, praise Xenu!, I got to put out a record with two bands I love... J CHURCH was the first band I ever interviewed for Fracture fanzine back in late 1997, and seriously, OFF WITH THEIR HEADS are going to be fucking huge. They're just too good. I saw them play with BLACK COUGAR SHOCK UNIT a couple of times in early 2006 and knew then that they were something mystical and spectacular! So anyway, I didn't actually have to do shit for this; Rock Bottom got my logo from somewhere after I said I wanted to be involved, then the next thing I know I have a box load turn up on my door step. A couple sold mailorder, and the rest got shipped to Japan because Waterslide Distribution wanted them all. Probably the easiest release we've ever done! So yeah, this is long gone and totally out of print now but, just so you know, the OFF WITH THEIR HEADS tracks appear on the singles collection "All Things Move Towards Their End" on No Idea Records (buy it!!!) *Nerd fact : "Too Late" by J CHURCH is a SNUFF cover! 400 copies pressed on black? 100 copies pressed on grey?
