This is at Bar Sigma, Swansea, it's over the road from the Potters Wheel (Wetherspoons) and just 100 yards up from Sin City. It's a 5 - 10 minutes walk from the train station and the walk is dead simplez. It looks a little bit like this, but more covered in booze and with a fenced area outside when there are shows...

Well, I always check the forum, but nobody ever posts anything new, so I thought I'd try and change things. The gigs we're putting on in Swansea probably apply to this board more than any other, so on the off chance some Gainesville resident moves to sunny Swansea, I thought I'd post the topic here!

You'd be amazed at how many people from Gainesville have moved to South Wales over the years! Ahem...

The Swansea gigs definitely look super cool, it's just such a pain in the ass getting there and back, especially when you don't drive - and impossible on a week night where I am practically on call until late at night sometimes with work. You seem to have a good thing going on with people turning up to all the gigs, is this because of the inherently "village-esque" inbreding that goes on there?

Yeah, we do book some Saturday gigs, but the club has crappy Drum and Bass stuff most of the time so it has to be miles in advance. Wednesdays is an alternative night of sorts, so there is already an audience there, which makes life easier.
